The Presidential change over for East Kilbride Rotary Club took place in the Bruce Hotel, East Kilbride on the 5th of July 2013 this was in  many ways reminiscent of years gone by when the club formly  met in the Bruce Hotel each Friday.
Outgoing President Jack Blackwood highlighted the achievements of the Club and the on occasion of the change ove,r prior to remitting office, had one more task to fulfil in that Rotary International had made awards to members of the club for their years of service to Rotary International and their work done locally they were  Ian Macpherson, Edwin Robertson, George Gunn, Douglas Kilpatrick Jim Moretti, Ian Wiseman David Taylor, Henry Doig, Alan Jenkinson, all of these members had in excess of 25 years service each.
